The Ocean Wing Junior Suite was spacious with lovely water supplies and cold scented towels. Having a massive bath on the balcony was a luxurious touch that we truly enjoyed.

The outdoor day beds by the beach and pool provided the perfect spot for lounging. The complimentary insect repellent by the pool staff was a thoughtful addition, considering the tropical climate. The highlight was the fabulous sunset views. However, there were areas that could use some improvement. The beach was a longer walk than expected, especially when managing a toddler. Some pool lounge cushions showed signs of wear, making it hard to fully relax. A few staff seemed less engaged during breakfast service, which could be off-putting. A noticeable inconvenience occurred when our requests for snacks at the bar were turned down due to our check-out timing, even after being told we could ask for refills. This left us feeling disappointed with the communication. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, but attention to guest interaction and minor details would enhance the stay.

It was just a great match for a lightning trip in Kota Kinabalu with all in all brilliant value for money. The breakfast buffet had everything I could want, especially the delicious Asian-style dishes. Make sure to take advantage of the wonderful dining options available on-site.

We loved the variety of vegetarian dishes at the restaurants. The pool was a bit crowded at times, making it hard to relax, but the views made it worth it. The nature reserve was beautiful, and the sunset cocktails were a highlight!
